I didn't have trouble running the game for the most part but I ended up playing windowed mode as fullscreen causes game to lag pretty badly. As for the game itself: Like many have said, not the best PM game, PM2 is far superior. I do kind of like the free-planning schedule unlike the previous 2 games where you had to do it monthly. The game feels less structured & more fluid in some ways with the events and tests, but also somewhat more restricting as they've taken out the RPG mini-games/court options. Also there are a lot more contests that I can place last. If the game runs smoothly it's not a bad game to play, but I would definitely recommend PM2 as the best in series.. Coming from Princess Maker 2, this was very disappointing. The removal of the adventure mode made the game a lot more deterministic, to the point where you can specify a sequence of steps for the entire 10 year span that will give you a particular outcome. Once you can do that, it's no longer a daughter raising game, it's just a glorified branching visual novel. Go play Princess Maker 2 instead, it's much better.. This game runs so slowly that it is unplayable. You need to click several times on any item for the command to be taken into account. Every tiny single action takes litterally ages.... I love this game! I honestly think that this is better than its predecesors. It never lags, you can control the text speed, the translation is more accurate and the graphics itself is better.. I havent had a chance to play this game becuase it basically f%^^ed my computer without even buying it dinner. Now that I know its going to destroy its cake hole without calling, I will try again, since I know how to fix the problem without crying in my bathtub. Stay tuned for actual game play info. Just know, it munts your settings so dont cry to your IT ex.. Basically I excepted the Chinese version before it really came up. However, this language update makes me extremely disappointed. There are numerous translation mistakes and bugs in the game. It seems like CFK uses Google Translate on the content, otherwise I suggest you company to employ better translator and programmars. 大体上：这翻译还能玩儿？？？？. Pretty good, it lacks the rpg elements of the earlier games but it really doesn't lose much unless you really liked it for some reason. The most casual of princess maker trilogy available on steam rn, its a much more relaxed and enjoyable experience for newcomers. The only complaint I have is that the ending criterias can make the game a little guide heavy if you want to 100% it.. I have had the Princess Maker 3 soundtrack on my playlist for 15+ years! After listening and dreaming of playing all those years, I was finally able to. It was everything I'd imagined. And the fairy even became princess on the very first try. I guess dreams do come true. :)Not sure if patches have fixed the game since release, but the text was all readable for me and I had no issues from start to heartwarming finish. The lack of adventure mode is a pity, and some engrish remains - but it actually adds its own charm and the distinctive flavor was welcome after countless runs through PM2.Thank you for finally making an English release of these games happen!!. Got it purely for nostalgias sake because me and my sis used to play Princess Maker 2 when we were kids.Third ones quite similar. Better interface and graphics. Better scheduling I think. No battles in this one though.. so far it is tons of fun ,a couple of the acheivements are broken and you receive them upon starting the game but I am sure they will fix that asap.
